Welcome to Transformational Teaching Online. If you feel called to work with people in a way that generates meaningful connection and real transformation, then this experience is for you. TTO is a seven week mentorship program that will offer you a direct experience of what's possible online. You'll discover how to cultivate intimacy and authentic community around the work that you do in almost any context.

Whether you’re a coach or a facilitator, a teacher or a healer, a community leader, someone who has wisdom to share, or running training programs where the quality of connection and awareness is important, the TTO helps you design a transformational experience that engages people and leaves everyone truly inspired and uplifted.
This program will guide you through every aspect of creating a powerful online experience. Each week you'll have two live zoom calls and assignments to help you design your offering, put together the content, set up the technical stuff, fine tune the language you use to describe your offering, and do the outreach necessary to build an audience for your initial launch.

This program is a laboratory. Each week you have an opportunity to show up in an experiential and experimental space that invites you to learn through direct experience. Creating a truly relational program is a living process. It builds on itself in an iterative way to open up new domains of self expression, connection, and creativity. In a world dominated by high speed everything, stepping into an experience like this can be truly transformational.
In this program you'll hone your ability to facilitate such spaces in any context. You'll learn how to apply presencing techniques and embodied practices to cultivate awareness, generate intimacy, and invite authentic sharing online. As a beginner or a seasoned practitioner, you’ll participate in an experiential environment that continually invites you to hone your capacity as a relational space holder.
Whether you plan to launch your own offering, build a community, or facilitate an organizational process, by the end of this program you will find yourself prepared to design and deliver a truly transformational online group experience.
You'll also find yourself embedded in an incredible community of practice committed to working with people in ways that uplift the human spirit. There's nothing more comforting than feeling that you have a group of people that truly care about your success, and that's exactly what this program offers. Understand exactly who your offering is for and how to structure your program in a way that is designed around their interests and needs.
Create a beautiful registration page that speaks to your audience
Put together the landing page for your program and learn how to use our embodied felt sense methodology to craft language that deeply resonates with your ideal participant.
Get all your technical stuff handled
Get step by step guidance on setting up an online space, creating content, and recording video for your program. We show you exactly what audio and video equipment to use on any budget and share tools that will help you run every aspect of your program.
Learn timeless relational marketing principles to reach more people
Learn how to work with relational business practices to fine tune your outreach process. Whether you’re building an audience from scratch, growing an existing audience, or working within an organization, these relational approaches will help you enroll the people you need to bring your vision to reality.
Learn powerful prototyping practices
Meaningful group learning experiences are based on presence and authentic connection. Every community and body of work is unique. You’ll discover how you can iterate and develop almost any idea you have to fruition through cycles of prototyping. We’ll show you how to create a pilot, gather feedback, and make continuous improvements through micro experimentation.
Get a database of dozens of relational activities
Find just the right icebreakers, conversation starters, questions, presencing practices, and closing techniques to help you cultivate a relational space for almost any application.
Join a growing community of practice
At the end of the program you are invited to join our Co-Creator Collective alumni community. This is an intimate community of creators committed to working with people in ways that generate presence, meaningful connection, and mutual understanding. We meet every week to share knowledge and resources and support each other around the work that we do.
Learn from direct experience
The TTO is about giving you a direct experience of what's possible online. At every step of the way, we spend time reflecting on your personal experience in the program to discover what you can apply to your work.
Immersion in the Sutra learning platform
Sutra is designed to enhance and support relational learning and growth. In this program you’ll get direct guidance from Sutra’s founders on how to make the most of the platform. While you don’t need to use Sutra for your offering to get value out of the course, we provide tons of support and nurturing should you choose to do so. You’ll practice with many of the special features that Sutra offers as you participate in the program.

We've been guiding and facilitating small group experiences since 2011. We started with hosting meetups in our living room in New York City. Lots of them. Over the years, we realized that group process is our thing. Today, we're the co-founders of Sutra, a platform that has supported over 29,000 people participating in group learning experiences. And our Transformational Teaching Online program has helped hundreds of people discover what's possible with relational spaces online.
Our work with Sutra has supported the WHO, the Harvard Program in Refugee Trauma, leadership programs at UNICEF and the Presencing Institute, as well as many other organizations and individuals in creating online learning experiences that foster deep connection and communication.
Our background integrates yogic philosophy with a masters study from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, as well as Theory U work from MIT professor Otto Scharmer, Immunity To Change methodologies from Harvard professors Robert Keegan and Lisa Lahey, the work of Werner Erhard, and relational practices inspired by Thomas Hubl.

What if I'm not exactly sure what course I want to create?
Many people sign up for this course with a particular idea in mind and then choose to do something completely different based on what they discover. This course will likely influence your understanding of what's possible online. If you're not exactly sure what you want to create, don't worry - the course will give you more clarity as well as the building blocks to make your program a reality. Understanding the principles in this course will equip you to better create your program when you're ready.
What if I'm not "techy"?
Most of our participants are what we call "heart centered" creators, many of whom are not very technical. This program offers step by step guidance around everything you need to set up your offering, from program design to group facilitation and technical set up. If you struggle with technology, this program will offer you a simple and relational approach to putting your work online. And, if you need more support, our team and our community is always there to provide the help you need.
How long will I have access to the content?
You will have lifetime access to the content and the community sharing space on Sutra.
What if I'm not happy with the course?
If you're not 100% satisfied with what the course offers, just reach out to us at any time and we'll happily give you a full refund. If you're not satisfied, we want to know so that we can learn how to better serve your needs.
How much time will this require?
Since much of this program revolves around you creating your own program, it's difficult to say exactly how much time this course will require. Each week you have four hours of zoom time plus the time it takes you to complete the assignments which revolve around putting together your program. Participation in the zoom calls is required, whereas you can complete the assignments on your own time. If you want to actually put together and launch your program during our seven weeks together, you should expect to spend a total of about 6 to 10 hours a week on the course.
